Redington Shores Beach Wedding

  • Posted on September 28, 2012 at 11:21 am

If you are looking to be in a more quiet area for a beach wedding,

Redington Shores has it.   It is less crowded than the of large beaches and  not to far of a drive if you want to hold your reception in Indian Rocks Beach or Clearwater Beach areas.  I have attached a few pictures of John and Carla’s Wedding we did last week on the north end of Redington Shores Beach.  Lots of parking and nice wood pathways out to the beach wedding site.

Wish Laterns to add to your Beach Wedding

I am always looking for new ideas to give my brides for something different and fun.  I came across this neat idea that involve your guests to take part in.  Now this wont be for everyone but if you are having a outdoor wedding at a hotel, beach, park or even at someones home, these lanterns are a really fun idea.

They are biodegradable and non-flammable.  How it works, lanterns are passed out to guests with note paper and pen.  They are to write well wish, place it in lantern and release.   Everyone of them comes with a pre attached fuel cell and instructions.  go to www.wishlantern.com for more information on them and their wedding package specials offered

Steps to Slash your wedding budget, not your fun

  • Posted on September 7, 2012 at 10:42 am

These days, budgets are so important to stick with and at the same time you are trying to have a fun and stress free day.  You don’t want to worry about money when you should be enjoying one of the most important days of your lives.   So, if you haven’t bought the new September Issue to Brides Magazine, there is a nice article on pg 150 that I will give you a bit of and you can then go and read in more detail if you like.   Some ideas will not be for you and others may pop right out at you.

Always remember to start with your most important parts.  Securing your ceremony with whom ever will be marrying you for your big day.  It may be a beach destination wedding, a church wedding where you grew up or even a home wedding ceremony.  Your choices are endless.

Your Reception selection  is next, which needs to go hand and hand with your ceremony for securing your date and times that work together.  You will need to have an idea of a approximate count when you go to discuss both Ceremony and Reception spots.  Then you can start building on from there with bridal party, speaking with florists, DJ’s, Photographer etc.

I hope these tips can help you:

  • Avoid Peak Season
  • Shrink your List by a Table
  • Embrace All-inclusive Packages
  • Focus on deliciousness
  • Limit Booze offerings to wine, beer and a few specialty drinks
  • Have fewer VIP’s – large bridal party means hefty floral bills etc.
  • Locavorize buds – Stick to seasonal and local flowers
  • Knock a star off a 5 star menu
  • Welcome Turn Tables – DJ’s on an average cost five times less that a band
  • Don’t gild the cake – Top with one X-large  edible flower instead of cascades
  • Give Photographer a curfew

North Clearwater Beach Wedding

Wedding ceremony took place down by The Palm Pavillion Restaurant where the group went after for their reception.   Grandma Betty helped put the day together with the bride’s mom and dad while the couple was busy moving during the  planning.   Wedding was kept small and intimate and the day was perfect with a nice summer breeze which helped everybody stay cool.
