Alan’s son, Alan Jr. was his best man and Anthony their other son was the ring bearer.   Their girls were the bridesmaids.  Stacy had us set up a shoe valet at the beach entrance which she provided a straw mat, some really cute signs, and buckets with paint brushes.   The bride and groom were given a sand ceremony set as a gift, and just a table and some decor by us was added.  Stacy’s dress was in a beautiful turquoise in Alan and Stacy 3alan and stacy shoe valetalan and stacy sand ceremonyalan and stacy set upwhich we matched the tulle to go on the canopy.

We lined the aisle with sheppard hooks with hanging starfish to tie in with the canopy’s starfish tiebacks.

The day was beautiful and clear.  The sunset breathless.

Jillian & Gregory Jillian & Gregory take vowJillian & Gregory Sand CeremonyTrying to handle booking a wedding long distance is sometimes stressful but if you have the right venders and a great reception site, you will have a breeze at booking.  Jillian and Gregory are from Illinois and  most of the guests were all from out of state.   She contacted me back in July of 2012 and the planning began for their June 13th, 2013 wedding.   She really like the Beach House Restaurant in Bradenton and of course it was one of our favorite spots.  Told her who to call and what to do.   She was sold on it all.

Their day went without a hitch.   Breeze coming off the water in June always helps.  It was a beautiful day.  Jillian chose a malibu blue tulle with white fabric  and starfish with Raffia hung from the chairs.   Gregory looked handsome as he patiently waited for his bride.   Gregory had his dad included as one of his groomsmen and their daughter Paeyton at 13 monthes joined in for the sand ceremony as well as their son Tyler who also was the ring bearer.

The reception area at the Beach House is right next to the ceremony site, which makes everything blend perfectly.  Easy on guests and bride and groom.

Shabby Chic finds Beachy

Found this liitle shop that holds different pieces by artists as well as the owners creations.  My big find was a mermaid necklace that I fell in love with.   Designed by the owner, Denise,  of the shop.  I have just taken in a Foster baby and did her room in mermaids and shabby chic theme.  How amazing that my husband saw the place and said ” that has you written all over it, lets stop”.  As I walked in the door,  there was a painted dresser that held these silver mermaid necklaces on it and I found my big find for the day.   If you have the chance to be in that area or just want something shabby or beachy, look up on facebook, Timeless Treasures on Anna Maria  Island.

Here is picture of myMermaid mermaid charm.  Why it doesnt look silver is beyond me, but really it is.
