Michael & Kerri’s Beach Wedding

  • Posted on December 28, 2014 at 11:20 am

Michael & Kerri met through a college friend of Kerri’s.  When she went to visit, she was introduced to Michael by her college friend.   They ended up clicking and continued dated for another 4 years.  Michael then proposed while they were camping over Memorial Day Weekend in 2013.  He had the vision of the 2 of them hiking Mt. Mansfield in VT and proposing to her at the top but they got 7 inches of snow that weekend.   He ended up proposing at their campsite   before heading to warmth at a hotel.  They honeymooned in Hawaii and are planning to buy a home Norwood, MA where they currently live.

Kerri walked into “A thousand Years”  and Michael and her walked out as husband and wife to “Is this Love” by Bob Marley.

Amanda & Brandon’s, Indian Rocks Beach Wedding

  • Posted on December 4, 2014 at 10:05 am

Amanda and Brandon were married by Amanda’s Brother, Adam.  She had her 13 year old sister, Emily as her maid of honor.   Brandon had his brother, Justin, as his best man. It was a family affair.

We used our white fabric with our watermelon and orange tulle on the bamboo canopy with starfish tie backs.  Raffia and starfish hung on the aisle chairs except the last row of chairs which were decorated with our netted sashes and starfish.

Sue,  Amanda’s mom did most of the coordinating putting all the pressure on herself.  She was amazing and very organized making the whole affair look easy to do as she did all of this from Canada.    The day was beautiful and the bride was breathtaking.

Beautiful “Day” Beach Wedding

  • Posted on November 4, 2014 at 10:13 pm

Traveling from the UK,  Wayne & Donna Day got their perfect day.   As Chantel  song  “Feels Like Home ” played , Wayne’s daughter  Lauren and 9 month old  Darcy walked before Donna and her Mum.    Wayne looked so cute and handsome waiting up front for his bride.  Oh lets not forget with is best man, Sponge Bob Square Pants who posed later for your eyes  only.   Life in the UK  most be fun with him.

They finished the night dining  at the Sand Pearl Resort.

The day was perfect and hopefully it was the journey and wedding they hoped for.

BIG Congrats to a beautiful couple and their family.

We did our couples only package  with our 2 bamboo poles and a string of whimsical starfish.  The ambiance of the surrounding beach and gulf decorated the rest of their day.

Vince and Colette

  • Posted on September 12, 2014 at 11:54 am

Married on June 7th, 2014 on Clearwater Beach.   Coming from Missouri,  Colette and I worked long distance to get her ideas and plans into action.  She knew exactly what she wanted and was able to email me photos of the colors she liked to go on the bamboo canopy and be apart of her and Vince’s vision.   It was a ceremony for 2 and Colette walked in to Patti LaBelle singing,  “If you only knew”.         Colette made almost everything she could for her special day from her wedding dress  (I am a big time sewer and I am really impressed) and her feet jewelry.  Her dear friend,  Carol, made her bouquet and flowers for the canopy.  Everything was perfect.   She looked beautiful and Vince was looking quite handsome as well with a smile that wouldn’t stop.

They had dinner for 2 at the Sand Pearl Resorts Restaurant and also stayed for their honeymoon.C & V 6 C & V 8 C & V 12 C & V 15 C & V 14 C & V 13 C & V 16

Gifts to fit for a beach wedding

  • Posted on August 14, 2014 at 4:24 pm

poo pourri bath bombsHere are a few ideas I found if you are looking for gifts for bridal party helpers or guests.    All have a nice twist to the beachy theme type wedding or just down right fun and one a bit funny.  Your friends and quests will love them.   The Bomb balls are great to leave in the guests rooms for the bath. They are calming and leave your skin feeling so soft.   The other, Poo Pourri is also something different to leave in the guests bath.  (bit funny)  The owner at Tillie’s Bath Cottage in St Augustine says to place bottle wrapped in tissue in the middle of a roll of toilet paper and you can set on back of toilet.   To order the salts, bath bomb’s or poo pourri (904) 819-0190  www.tilliesbathcottage.com   Key Largo Chocolates are found at their store and you can find them http:/www.facebook.com/keylargochocolates

Beach Wedding takes to the Sea

  • Posted on August 7, 2014 at 12:55 pm

This wedding started out to be on Clearwater Beach just for the happy couple and the brides mom and dad.   About a week before the big day, a friend of the family invited them to get married on his boat taking them out to sea for the ceremony.    We all excepted to change plans.   With perfect boating weather,  their day was beautiful and memorable.

Congratulations to the happy couple.
