Breathtaking view on a small quaint area on Siesta Key Beach. Just a perfect size for a small wedding. Bride and Groom had rented a house on the beach and the tide never went out enough to set up in front of the property so we found a deserted spot just north that turned out to be even better than we all imagined.

After your ceremony, have either your Officiant or Pastor make an announcement that you would like to have a group picture taken. This is a great way to make your guests feel special and included in the celebration. The part they won’t know is that you are going to use it for your thank you cards.

Make sure to have the photographer take a few so you have one that really shows everyone well and looking thier best.

Something Blue

Blue is the color of love and loyalty so use it to bring your bridesmaids together. Choose a pair of earrings for each of them with blue stones that fit their indivdual personalities. Then wrap the gifts in vintage hankerchiefs embroidered in blue. Use card stock, cut to size and punch pin holes to secure earrings on. Place each in a small box, fold up hankercheif around and secure with a blue ribbon and add a tag.

Wrap your favors uniquely

Ever think of buying a few local maps and using them for wrapping your favors in. You could tag a few areas on map just for fun.

Or just buy one map, go have copies made in color, in the size you need to use for wrapping. Choose maybe the location of where your destination wedding is. Center in on that part of the map like the beach, park or historical area at a church.

Your guests will have something unique to remember you by. Make sure you think of something unique to wrap!

Wear your flowers and nix bouquet

If you are a bride who would rather not carry a bouquet down the aisle and you prefer something different, try speaking to your florist about making your a 5 or 6 foot boa made of roses, orchids, carnations etc., you r choose. Wear it the way you would wear a shawl or pashmina.

Idea #6- Set up a warm weather drink station

From April to October, Florida is a warm weather state and for our beach weddings, it is a nice touch to have a drink station either at your ceremony site or as a welcome to your cocktail reception. Consider serving unusual, refreshing nonalcoholic drinks, such as raspberry-pomegranate punch or a black current and peach tea. Arrange on a table with tall glasses and glass kitchen canisters for punches and teas with silver ladles. You can also float fresh fruit in a pitcher of fruit juice and serve with seltzer water so guests can concoct their own sparkling punch.

If you want something that is fun for the tiny guests, you can take milk crates and lay boards across them and use some matching tablecloths and decorate with miniature flower arrangements like the adult tables. Set napkins and utensils they will need. Then for seating you can use big squared pillows for seats.
