Pulling hair back for outdoor / beach weddings

We just finished doing a wedding this Saturday out on Clearwater beach,  the breeze coming off the water turned into a strong full force wind by the time the ceremony was to take place.  This can happen often with out door weddings.

If you are thinking to wear your hair down,  maybe it  would be a good thing to be prepared for a back up plan that you can have ready if day of becomes a bit breezy.

Some ideas: Work with  flowers (real or faux). The key is to keep it simple and elegant.  You could use one large flower or a few small ones positioned just above the ear with a low tight pony tail or tucked into your  bun depending on what you like  and what works for you.

My bride this weekend was prepared and she looked fabulous.  She had a long veil with her hair pulled back  and a few flowers pinned in her bun.  The wind made her long veil flow through the air (but not her hair) which created some unique and quite breathtaking pictures.
